Today’s Big Release : Sarbjit
Bollywood film Sarbjit starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha is all set to hit the screens today. The film is Aishwarya’s second after her five-year hiatus after flop film Jazbaa, which released last year. The trailer of Sarbjit promises a new innings for the 42-year-old actress. Sarbjit is directed by Omung Kumar, who had earlier directed Mary Kom with Priyanka Chopra in the lead.Sarbjit chronicles the life of Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh (played by Randeep) who was killed in a Pakistani jail. It also tells the story of his sister Dalbir kaur (played by Ash), who leaves no stone unturned to get justice for her brother. Its an Indian biographical drama film directed by Omung Kumar. The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in lead roles, with Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar essaying supporting roles in the film.The film will be narrated through the perspective of Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur played by Aishwarya Rai.For all those who have wanted to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan put in some passionate, high octane acting performance, Sarbjit could well be the one you were long waiting for. In the just released trailer, Aishwarya is seen in her de-glam best, shouting her lungs out as she pleads passionately as Dalbir Singh for her brother Sarabjit’s (Randeep Hooda) release from prison.
